NOTE: This is a long Tutorial so please SAVE OFTEN so if you cannot finish it in one day you always can finish it the next day.

1. Open the tube in PSP. Edit / Copy. Edit / Paste as new image. Close the original tube we don't need it anymore. If you want to colorize the pump now is the time to do that , you can not do that later.

2. Image / Mirror. Go to image canvas size with these settings:

3. Click on the Lasso tool with these settings: Free hand, feather=0, antialias checked. Draw a selection round the handle see screenshot:

click 1x in the selection to have this:

4. Edit / Cut, Edit / Paste as new layer. Name this layer H1. Place it back on the pump there where you cut it of.

5. Duplicate the AntqPump-Patao 4 times. Rename the AntqPump-Patao to P1 and call the other four P2 , P3 , P4 and P5.

6. Duplicate H1 name the copy H2. Image rotate right with 10.
Effects / Sharpen / Sharpen. Close H1 by clicking on the glasses in the layer palette.
Place H2 so that you do not have any open spaces on the top (see screenshot):

7. Duplicate H2 name the copy H3. Image rotate right with 10.
Effects -->Sharpen --> Sharpen. Close H2 by clicking on the glasses in the layer palette.
Place H3 so that you do not have any open spaces on the top (see screenshot):

8. Duplicate H3 name the copy H4. Image rotate right with 10.
Effects /Sharpen / Sharpen. Close H3 by clicking on the glasses in the layer palette.
Place H4 so that you do not have any open spaces on the top.

9. Duplicate H4 name the copy H5. Image rotate right with 10.
Effects /Sharpen / Sharpen. Close H4 by clicking on the glasses in the layer palette.
Place H5 so that you do not have any open spaces on top.

10. Close all layers. Open H4 layer and P4 layer. If you look close you can see a little piece behind the handle we need to take that away (see screenshot):

11. Make layer P4 active and close all other layers.
Take the lasso tool again and select the top ( see screenshot ):

Hit the delete key and this is what you have then:

Keep the selection.

Make layer P5 active and again hit your delete key. Select None. Make layer P1 visible.

13. Top layer active but closed. Layer new rasterlayer, name it W1. Take the draw tool with these settings: Free hand, Solid line, Linewidth 1and antialias checked. first color: Set Foreground color to #0000C0 and draw 5 lines. second color: Set Foreground color to #000040 and draw 3 lines. third color: Set Foreground color to #C0C0FF and draw 4 lines. This is what you have (see screenshot):

14. Go to Colors / Colorizing and use these settings: 150 -- 100.

15. Take your retouch tool with these settings: use soften:

And go all over your water to get a soft look (see screenshot):

16. Duplicate the W1 layer 4 times and name them W2, W3, W4 and W5. Close these layers for now. We will work with W1 layer, make that layer active.
