Party Jiggle tag

**Elmo is a character on Sesame Street, created by the Late Jim Henson. I have not been able to find out who owns the copyright to Elmo and am only using him for educational purposes in this tutorial**

Making the animation.

13. Click on the body layer in your layer palette to make it active. Layer new Rasterlayer and give this layer a name or the letter you are going to use I begin with the C so i call it C. Click on your text tool and find a good fat letter to write with I used Glowworm. I am not going to tell what color to use on your text just find the colors you love to use from the tube. I used different colors on the letters.Size 48 floating and antialias checked hit OK for your first letter. (If you have a long name the size must be smaller or you need to search for a smaller letter type)

14. Effects /3D Effects/ Innerbevel. Select none. Place the letter with the mover tool on the hand. See example below:

You have to do the Inner Bevel on every letter you'r going to use. I am only saying it here to remember you, to do this step every time you take a new letter.

15. Go to your layer palette and merge the layer visible save this as psp1 or elmo1.

Click on the undo button and the layers are unmerged.

Click in your layer palette on the glasses of R1 this one is hidden now. Click on the glasses of layer R2 this one is visible now. Move the letter to the hand and place it on it. Go to your layer palette and merge these layers visible save it as psp2 or elmo2.

Click on the undo button. In your layer palette click on the glasses of layer R2 this one is closed now and click on the glasses of R3 this layer is visible now. Move the letter to the hand and place it the way you want it. Merge these layer visible in your layer palette and save it as psp3.

Click on the undo button. Click in your layer palette on the glasses of R3 this one is closed now. Click on the glasses of layer R1 the top arm is visible again. Move your letter to the left corner down and place it near the edge. Merge these layers visible and save it as psp4.

16. Click on the undo button. In your layer palette click on the glasses of layer R1 and the body layer these layers are closed now open the layers body2 and L1 by clicking on the glasses. We are going to work on the other side now.

17. Click on your body2 layer to make it active. Layer new Raster layer. Click on your text tool and type in your last letter of your name of the text you wanted. Hit ok. Apply the Inner Bevel on the letter. Place the letter on the hand of Elmo. Merge these layers visible and save as psp5.

Click on the undo button. In your layer palette click on the glasses of L1 to close and L2 to open. Place the letter on this hand. Merge these layer visible and save as psp6.

Click on the undo button. In your layer palette click on the glasses of L2 to close and L3 to open. Place the letter on this hand. Merge these layer visible and save as psp7.

Click on the undo button. In your layer palette click on the glasses of L3 to close and L1 to open. Place the letter right corner below. Merge these layer visible and save as psp8.

18. You have to do these three steps for every two letters , switching between left and right for every new letter.

At the end I finished with 20 psp files for my name.

19. On the black Tag I added an last psp file. I ended up on the left side with my last letter so turned the body layer and the arm layer off and opened up the body2 layer and the arm for the right side saved that as psp 21. Now I have elmo looking both sides with my name full.

20. Open Animation Shop

Click on this button the wizard animation and the top one should be checked:

Hit next. Same on this one the top one should be checked:

hit next. Here you have the second one to be checked and the third one also checked:

Hit next. Top one should be checked and put 20 in the box

Hit next.

Next to do is to hit the button to search for your images. I hade a folder where i put them in so go to the folder and select all the images you just saved. I had 21 psp files

Check if the are in order of numbers.

Hit next. Hit ok.

21. Almost done now. We have to rezise the animation.

Click on Edit /Select all.

Click on Animation / Rezise Animation with these settings:

Hit ok.

You can see how your animation is now by clicking on this button . Go to File /Save as, next to do is to give it a name and hit on save will be a window popping up now Just hit next and next and next and last one hit ok.
