Making a clean Tube

Using Eraser Tool

We used a Chevron Car as an example !!!

SAVE OFTEN

Make sure that your graphic has a colordepth of 16 milj. colors (24 bits) and

that it is a layer.

New rasterlayer and floodfill it with a darkcolor, I used #800000.

Layers > arrange > bottom.

Make your graphic layer active.

Take your magicwand (RGB-value, Torelance: 50 and feather: 0)

click in the white background.

Hit your delete button.

Select none.

Now make you graphic bigger so you can see the edge of it better.

Take your eraser tool with the following setting to start:

at some time you will have to make the size smaller !!!

Now we are going to erase the light pixels.

You will get this:

If you have done the total graphic you will see this.

Don't worry about to must delete of the edge, we will fix that later.

Now your tube is clean but if you delete the background layer you will see

that the edge is not that pretty, we are going to fix that now.

You will need Eye Candy 4000, Shadowlab with the following settings:

I gave my tube the shadowlab 3 times to make it pretty.

This is my result after the shadowlab:

Copy and paste as new image to lose the to much background.

You can save your copy as a tube or as psp file.

Your second tube is finished. Well done

On to the third way of making a clean tube.
