Making a clean Tube

How to start

There are many different way's to make a graphic in to a clean tube.
We will try to explane as many as we know now.

These 4 way's are explaned here: Lasso selection, Eraser, Magic wand and Gif in Animation Shop.

The next tools are the most tools you use :

FIRST USING LASSO SELECTION

The next picture is a photo i took from the pumpkin plant i have in the garden you may use it to expiriment. Right click to save to your harddrive.

1. Open the image in PSP. Duplicate the image and close the original.
Layers - Promote to layer.

2. Zoom in on your image if necessary. Click on your lasso tool with these settings: Point to Point, Feather=0 and anti alias checked.

Start at one point of the flower i started on the left side. Screenshot :

3. Take little steps to select the edge of the flower. We clean little pieces at the time. See screenshots:

I selected one edge, took some of the background that has to get cleaned and clicked on the delete button once. Select None.

4. Here is a screenshot from the second part i selected.You can see i took some of the clean part to be sure everything is clean on the end.

5. Now do this with the hole flower. The screenshot will show you the result of cleaning the edge:

6. Select with your lasso tool arround the flower in the transparent parts see screenshot:

Click inside the marching ants to get the flower selected see screenshot:

7. Selections / Invert and click once on the delete button.
Selections / Feather with 2. Now hit the delete button 5 times. Select None.

8. Copy and past the flower as new image. You can close the one you where working on now.

You can now save the copy as tube or as psp file.

Your first tube is now finished. Well done.
