Gold patterns



You need:
PSP Versie 7.04
VM Manupilation, VM Toolbox (both has them) Radial Noise
(Optional)
The basic
Foreground color on Gradient. Background off.
Click on the gradient to get this window:
Click on Edit to get this window:
Click on New and type in a name for your new gradient. I call it Shinygold-ca. This is what you get a yellow bar.
Now we are going to make gold.
Use the next color or one of this family. Click on the first arrow (see screenshot by number 1). Click on the color ( see screenshot by number 2). Fill in #957C44 for the dark color. Do the same with the last arrow (see screenshot by number 3). You now have a dark brown line.
Click in the middle location 50 ( You can find the location settings above number2 from the screenshot ) there will appear a new arrow. Fill the next color in #FBF3B1 the light color.
You can see it almost looks like gold already, you can save this as old but i will put one color to it to make it look better.
Click on the location 25 an arrow will appear, fill in the next color #AC9C54 the middle color. Repeat on location 75.
This is what you have now:
Click on okay and you have just made a gold gradient.
This is how it looks:
Now on to make some patterns.
First pattern
Open an new image 150 width by 150 height. Floodfill with your goldgradient.
Go to Effects / Plugins / Simple -- 4 way average.
Go to Effects / Plugins/ VM Manupilation ( VM Toolbox) -- Radial Noise with these settings:

Second pattern
Open an new image 150 width by 150 height. Floodfill with your goldgradient.
Go to Effects / Plugins / Simple -- 4 way average.
Effects / texture effects Mosaic Antique with these settings:
This is what you have:
Thirth pattern
Open an new image 150 width by 150 height. Floodfill with your goldgradient.
Go to Effects / Plugins / Simple -- 4 way average.
Effecten / texture effects Mosaic Glass with these settings:
This is what you have:
There are many more posebility's. I have show here only a few examples. Try to play with settings and filters you can get very great gold effects.
