What are you Toadies

You need:
PSP Versie 7.04 30 trial version.
Toadies filter download HERE
Image of your choice.

Important: If you use different colors than the colors I have used, your results may be different.Keep this in your mind when doing this tutorial.

1. Open a New Image 300 by 250 pixels and name it frame (If you have a picture that is larger in height then in width you have to do 250 by 300 pixels). Set the Foreground-color on  #FFFFFF (white) and floodfill your new image with it.
Set the Background-color on a color from your picture ( not too light take a middle to dark color). 

2. On the new image. Image add borders with 5 pixels symmetric.
Switch the Foreground-color with the Background-color.
Image add borders with 5 pixels symmetric.
Switch the Foreground-color with the Background-color the Foreground-color should be white.
Image add borders with 5 pixels symmetric.
Again we are going to switch the Foreground with the Background-color the Background-color is white now.
Image add borders with 5 pixels symmetric.
Last time switch Foreground with Background-color the Foreground-color should be white now.
Image add border with 5 pixels symmetric.
You should have two white borders and three from the color of your choice.

3.Selections / Select All. Selections / Modify / Contract with 30 pixels. Selections / Invert.

4. Effects /Plugins/Toadies -- What are you? and put it on 25 click ok. Select none.

5. Click with the magic wand ( tolerance=0 feather=0) on a color in the border:

Selections / Modify / Select Similar. You should have someting like this:

6. Effects/ 3D Effects/ Innerbevel with these settings: ( we will be using these settings the whole tutorial):

Select none.

7. Click with the magic wand on another color in the border somewhere in the leftcorner. Selections / Modify / Select Similar. you have something like this now:

 8. Effects/ 3D Effects/ Innerbevel with the same settings  as in step 6. Select none.

9. Click with the magic wand on another color in the border:

10. Selections / Modify / Select Similar. You should have something like this:

11. Effects / Texture Effects /Blinds with these settings:

12. Go to your layer palette right click on the backgound and promote to layer. Selections / Select  All. Selections / Modify / Contract with 30 pixels andhit the delete key on the keyboard, the middle of the image should be transparant  Select none.

13. Click with the magic wand on the white border that is left. Selections / Modify / Select Similar. You'r image should look something like this:

14. The next to do is all up to you. You can floodfill the selection with gold or silver or use an Blade Pro preset another option is to use Ulead Art texture. I used an gold fill tile. Select none.

16. Well this was a lot to do but we are not finished. Last time to select, if you look good you must have one color in the corners that is left we are going to select this one to:

17. Selections / Modify / Select Similar. Now you have someting like this:

18. Effects/ 3D Effects/ Innerbevel with the settings as in step 6. Select none.

19. Click with the magic wand in the middle of the image the transparant part of the frame. Layer new Raster layer.  Layer / Arrange / Send to bottom. Effects / 3D Effects / Cutout with these settings:

Keep the selection.

20. Layer New Raster layer. Layer / Arrange/ Send to bottom.

21. Maximize the picture you have chosen. Edit / Copy. Go back to the frame you created,  Edit / past into selection. Click on the frame layer ( top layer if I am correct) in your layer palette to make it active.

22. Effects /3D Effects / Dropshadow with these settings:

Repeat the Dropshadow with  horizontal and vertical on -2. Layers /merge / merge all layers (flatten).

23. Image add borders with 5 pixels symmetric. Select the border with the magic wand and floodfill with an goldpattern or silver or use the Blade Pro preset you used before or the Ulead Art Texture if you have used that in this frame. 

24. Effects / 3D Effects / Innerbevel with the same settings as in step 6. Resize the end result if it is to large don't forget to sharpen after you have rezised it. Effects/Sharpen /Sharpen
