For this Tutorial you will need
PSP Versie 7.04  
Eye Candy 4000  

1. Open an image of your choose. Duplicate and close the original.

2. Image add border of  5.

3. Select the border with your magic wand and fill it with a color or gold.

4. Effects/ 3d Effect /Drop shadow with these settings ,
H & V op 3 , opacity on 60 and  blur on 10.
Apply again but now with  H & V of -3. Deselect.

5. Image add border with 15.

6. Select the border with your magic wand. Effects/ Reflection Effect /Kaleidoscope with these settings ;

 
7. Effect / Geometric Effect / Spikey Halo with these settings ;

8. Effect /Plugins / Eye Candy 4000/ Squint with the radius on 5. Deselect.

9. Image add border of 5. 

10. Select your border with the magic wand and fill again with the same color or gold .

11. Effect /3D effect/Drop shadow with the same settings as before. Apply again the drop shadow with H & V on -3. Deselect.

12. Image add border of 20 and select the border with your magic wand.

13. Repeat piont 6 , point 7 and point 8 again.

14. Layer new rasterlayer  and fill with black. Go to  your layer palette and move the opacity off the blackborder to 45  ( this can be more or less depends on the image your using). deselect.

15. Image add border of 5 and fill with your color or gold again .

16. effect/ 3d effect/ sDrop shadow same settings as before. Deselect.

17. Now for the final touch of your frame we click on the retouche tool and I have used Smudge with  these settings. 

18. Put you hand or arrow in the corner of your frame and go down diagonal to the first line we have filled. Look at the example what to do. 

Do this with all four corners. If it wont get as nice you want it to be then hit the undo button and try again.

19. Layer new rasterlayer  

20. Click on your draw tool , single line, linewidth 2 antialias checked. Now draw a line between the corners from left to right on the dark border. You can pick the same color for your borders or some color you like to use on the frame.

21. If you have that, go to your layer palette and duplicate the layer with your line. Image flip.

22. Add a new rasterlayer and draw a new line from top to bottom on the dark border again between the corners .

23. If you have that, go to your layer palette and duplicate that layer with your line. Image mirror.

24. merge all layers flatten.
