You need:
PSP Version 7.04
Birgits chaos
We are using embroidery and brighten up.

Right click to save to your hard drive..
An image of your choice.
1. Duplicate the image twice and close the original.
2. Minimize 1 of the duplicates. First we are making the pattern.
3. Effects / Plugins / Birgits Chaos -- Embroidery with these settings:150 , 150 , 50 and 50.
4. Effects / Plugins / Simple Diamonds. Effects / Plugins / Simple Centre tile.
5. Minimize the pattern and bring up the other duplicate this will be the frame image.
6. Set background-color to one that is not in the image.Open the gold in PSP. Foreground to pattern and find the gold.
7. Image add border with 3 symmetric. Select the border with the magic wand ( Tolerance on 0 and Feather on 0). Floodfill the border with the gold. Keep the selection.
8. Selections / Invert. Effects / 3D Effects / Cutout with horizontal and vertical on 0, opacity on 100 and feather on 25. Select none.
9. Image add borders with 30 symmetric. Select the border with the magic. Selections / Invert. Selections / Promote to layer. Select None. In your layer palette name the promoted layer Main image.
10. Open the layer palette and make the background active by clicking on it. Set Foreground color to the pattern you just made from the duplicated image with settings: scale 60 % and angle on 0.Floodfill the backgound with it.
11. Effects / Plugins / Simple -- Top Left Mirror.
12. In your layer palette make the Main image layer active. Click with the magic wand in the transparent area. Layers / Merge / Merge all layers.
13. Effects / 3D Effects / Inner bevel with preset pillow but change the Elevation to 30. Repeat the Inner bevel. Select None.
14. Image add border with 3 symmetric. Select the border with the magic wand ( Tolerance on 0 and Feather on 0). Floodfill the border with the gold. Select None
15. Image add borders with 30 symmetric. Select the border with the magic wand. Selections / Invert. Selections / promote to layer. Select None. On the layer palette name this layer Main image.
16. Make the background layer active in your layer palette and floodfill with the pattern. Effects / Plugins / Simple -- Top Left Mirror.
17. Make the Main image active in your layer palette. Click with the magic wand in the transparent area. Layers / Merge / Merge all layers.
18. Effects / Plugins / Birgits chaos -- Brighten up with settings: 255 en 118.
19. Effects / 3D Effecten / Cutout with horizontal and vertical on 0, Opacity on 100 and Feather on 25. Select None.
20. Image add border with 3 symmetric. Select the border with the magic wand ( Tolerance on 0 and Feather on 0). Floodfill the border with the gold. Select None
Decorate the frame with corners.
