Double Rastered
Supplies:
PSP Versie 7 but it can be done in 8 too
My patterns and psp file Here.
Open these in psp and minimize them.
To
use them in this tutorial you need to set your foregrond and background to
pattern and search for the pattern you need when ask. Even the raster-ca.psp
is going to be used this way.
Image of your choice. Take a small image. If you image is to large resize it because an the end of this tutorial if you have to resize then, then you will lose the effect of the raster.
1. Open your image, Schift + D to copy and close the original. Set Foreground color to white and Background color to black. Put both now on pattern. Foreground on the gold pattern and background on the pattern1-ca.
2. Selections/Select all. Selections/Float.
Effects/3D Effects/Cutout with these settings:

Deselect.
3. Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish,
color white.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color
white.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color
white.
Add borders 1
symmetrish, color black.
4. Select the white borders with the magic wand ( tolerance and feather 0), Floodfill with the gold pattern, Angle 45 and scale on 50. Colors/Colorize choose one that fits your image colors. i used Hue 0 and Saturation 0. Deselect.
5. Add borders 15 symmetrish, color white. Select the border with the magic wand. Floodfill with pattern1-ca, Angle 0 and scale on 50. Colors/Colorize.
6. Selections/Select all. Selections/Float. Effects/3D Effects/Cutout with the same settings as in step 2. Deselect.
7. Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish,
color white.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color
white.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color
white.
8. Select the white borders with the magic wand and floodfill with the goldpattern, Angle 45 and scale on 50. Colors/Colorize. deselect.
9. Add border 35 symmetrish, color white. Select the border with the magic wand and floodfill with black.
10. For psp 7: New layer and floodfill with the raster-ca, Angle 0 and Scale 50. New layer and floodfill
with the goldpattern. If done right you have only filled the raster on this
layer. Deselect.
Click in your layer palette on the
background layer to make it active. Click with the magic wand on the black
border. Layers/Merge/Merge all. Colors/Colorize. Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen.
Deselect.
For psp 8: New layer and floodfill wit raster-ca, Angle 0 and Scale 100. Selections/Float. New layer and floodfill with the gold pattern. Deselect. Click in your layer palette on the background layer to make it active. Click with the magic wand on the black border. Layers/Merge/Merge all. Colors/Colorize. Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen. Deselect.
11. Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish,
color white.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color
white.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color
white.
12. Select the white borders with the magic wand and floodfill with the goldpattern, Angle 45 and scale on 50. Colors/Colorize. deselect.
13. Add borders 15 symmetrish, color white. Select the border with the magic wand and floodfill with the pattern2-ca, Angle 0 and scale on 100. Colors/Colorize. Selections/Float. Effects/3D Effects/Cutout with the same settings as before.
14. Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish,
color white.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color
white.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color black.
Add borders 1 symmetrish, color
white.
15. Select the white borders with the magic wand and floodfill with the goldpattern, Angle 45 and scale on 50. Colors/Colorize. deselect.
Place some corners or tubes on your frame. Your done!!
