We are going to make this needle and thread.
The tube you create from this tutorial is yours.
I did set my flood fill bucket's blend mode on normal and the match mode on none.
This way you flood fill all the floating selections in one time.

Download here the selections and supplies..

Start by opening a new image 130x130 on a transparent background.

spool 1
Open my spool1.sel and flood fill with the color #D5AE8F
Deselect the selection.

thread
Add a new layer.
Open my color.sel and flood fill with the color #9EB7C6
Deselect the selection.

On the same layer:
Open my shad1.sel and flood fill with the color #7E9EB2
Deselect the selection.

On the same layer:
Open my shad2.sel and flood fill with the color #5F849B
Deselect the selection.

On the same layer go to:
Effects,Texture Effects,Blinds.
And use these settings.


On the same layer:
Open my thread.sel.
And copy and paste as new image the thread.
(This we keep apart to the end of the tutorial)
Deselect the selection.

the needle
Add a new layer.
Open my needle.sel and flood fill with the color #C0C0C0
Deselect the selection.
Open my needleshad.sel and flood fill with the color #000000
Deselect the selection.

spool 2
Add a new layer.
Open my spool2.sel and flood fill with the color #D5AE8F
Deselect the selection.

On the same layer.
Open my spool3.sel and use a -60 brightness.
Deselect the selection.

Open my spoolshad.sel and flood fill with the color #D5AE8F
Deselect the selection.

thread2
Add a new layer.
Open my thread.sel.
And paste into selection the thread you kept apart.
Deselect the selection and you are done.
