We are going to make a pig.
I did set my flood fill bucket's blend mode on normal and the match mode on none.
This way you flood fill all the floating selections in one time.
(I used a part of a coloring page to make my tut)

Download here the selections

Open a new image 300x250 with a transparent background.

The Inner Ears.
Open the ears.sel and flood fill it with the color #E0B790.
Deselect the selection.

Open the ears2.sel and flood fill it with the color #D08E50.
Deselect the selection.

The Head.
Add a new layer.
Open the head.sel and flood fill it with the color #FFDEC1.
Deselect the selection.

Open the head2.sel and flood fill it with the color #E1B690.
Deselect the selection.

Open the head3.sel and flood fill it with the color #D9A573.
Deselect the selection.

Open the head4.sel and flood fill it with the color #D08E50.
Deselect the selection.

The Face.
Add a new layer.
Open the eyes.sel and flood fill it with the color #FFFFFF.
Deselect the selection.

Open the eyes2.sel and flood fill it with the color #96B7D2.
Deselect the selection.

Open the eyes3.sel and flood fill it with the color #000000.
Deselect the selection.

Open the mouth.sel and flood fill it with the color #000000.
Deselect the selection.

The Nose.
Add a new layer.
Open the nose.sel and flood fill it with the color #FFDEC1.
Deselect the selection.

Open the nose2.sel and flood fill it with the color #E1B690.
Deselect the selection.

Open the nose3.sel and flood fill it with the color #89684C.
Deselect the selection.

The Upper Ears.
Open the ears3.sel and flood fill it with the color #FFDEC1.
Deselect the selection.

Open the ears4.sel and flood fill it with the color #E1B690.
Deselect the selection.

The Feet.
Open the feet.sel and flood fill it with the color #000000.
Deselect the selection.
And you are finished.
