We are going to make a mouse.
I did set my flood fill bucket's blend mode on normal and the match mode on none.
This way you flood fill all the floating selections in one time.
(the mouse is my own creation)

Download here the selections

Open a new image 330x460 with a transparent background.

The tail.
Open the tail.sel and flood fill it with the color #C0C0C0.
Deselect the selection.

Open the tail2.sel and flood fill it with the color #808080.
Deselect the selection.

The Feet.
Add a new layer.
Open the feet.sel and flood fill it with the color #C0C0C0.
Deselect the selection.

Open the feet2.sel and flood fill it with the color #808080.
Deselect the selection.

The Belly.
Add a new layer.
Open the belly.sel and flood fill it with the color #C0C0C0.
Deselect the selection.
