We are going to make this Little Ladybug
The tube you create from this tutorial is yours.
I did set my flood fill bucket's blend mode on normal and the match mode on none.
This way you flood fill all the floating selections in one time.

Download here the selections.

Start by opening a new image 180x320 on a transparent background.

Open my shield.sel and flood fill with the color #FF4040.
Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer.
Open my spots.sel and flood fill with the color #000000.
Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer.
Open my shieldshad.sel and flood fill with the color #000000.
Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer.
Open my tophead.sel and flood fill with the color #59575A.
Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer.
Open my head.sel and flood fill with the color #59575A.
With the selection floating go to:
Selections/invert.
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow and use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 100,blur 33,3,color black.
Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer.
Open my shoes.sel and flood fill with the color #808080.
With the selection floating go to:
Selections/invert.
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow and use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 40,blur 24,7,color black.
Deselect the selection.

Open my shoes.sel again on the same layer.
Go to selections/modify/contract and contract the selection 4 pixels.
With this selection floating go to:
Effects/texture effects/blinds.
And use these settings:
With 8,opacity 6,color #000000,horizontal.
Deselect the selection.
Merge layers visible and ready is your Little Ladybug.
