Little Chick2 tutorial

We are going to make this little chick
(I used eye candy 4000)

Download here the selections and supplies..

Start by opening a new image 225x320 on a transparent background.

Open my headtop.sel and flood fill with the color #C33003.
Go to:selections/invert.
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow.
And use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 50,blur 16,color black.
Deselect the selection.
Now go to effects/noise and add a 3% uniform noise.

Add a new layer:
Open my bleg.sel and flood fill with the color #E68A34.
With the selection floating:
Go to selections/modify/contract and contract the selection 1 pixel.
Flood fill this selection with the color #F7A759.

Now go to:
Selections/select all.
Selections/float.
Selections/invert.
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow.
And use these settings:
Vertical 2,horizontal -2,opacity 85,blur 6,2,color #BD6917.
Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer.
Open my body.sel and flood fill with the color #FFFFFF.
With the selection floating:
Go to selections/invert.
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow.
And use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 50,blur 79,color black.
Deselect the selection.

Go to effects/eye candy/jiggle and use these settings:
Brownian motion,bubble size 5,warp amount 5,twist 90,random seed 1.
Now go to effects/noise and add a 3% uniform noise.

Add a new layer:
Open my fleg.sel and flood fill with the color #E68A34.
With the selection floating:
Go to selections/modify/contract and contract the selection 1 pixel.
Flood fill this selection with the color #F7A759.

Now go to:
Selections/select all.
Selections/float.
Selections/invert.
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow.
And use these settings:
Vertical 2,horizontal 2,opacity 85,blur 6,2,color #BD6917.
Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer.
Open my cheek.sel and flood fill with the color #C33003.
Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer.
Open my eyebrow.sel and flood fill with the color black.
Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer.
Open my chick.sel and flood fill with the color #C33003.
Go to:selections/invert.
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow.
And use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 50,blur 10,color black.
Deselect the selection.
Go to effects/noise and add a 3% uniform noise.

Add a new layer:
Open my face.psp and paste this on the right place like this.

Now merge layers visible.
And soften with your retouch soften brush,brush size 7.
The jiggle part touching the top of his head.
