We are going to make this Pirate Penguin.
The tube you create from this tutorial is yours.

Download here the selections and supplies..

Start by opening your Basic Penguin in layers.

Make the item layer your active layer.

Open my wheel.sel and flood fill with the color #B47108.
With the selection floating go to selections/invert.

With this selection floating go to:
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow and use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 80,blur 20,color black.

Deselect the selection.

Add a new layer an call it hat.

Go to layers/arrange and bring to top this layer.

Open my hat.sel and flood fill with the color #C61E02.
With the selection floating go to selections/invert.

With this selection floating go to:
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow and use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 60,blur 25,color black.

Deselect the selection.
Go to effects/noise and add a 3% uniform noise.

Add a new layer and call it hat2.

Open my hat2.sel and flood fill with the color #C61E02.
With the selection floating go to selections/invert.

With this selection floating go to:
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow and use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 60,blur 25,color black.

Deselect the selection.
Go to effects/noise and add a 3% uniform noise.

Add a new layer and call it hat3.

Open my hat3.sel and flood fill with the color #C61E02.
With the selection floating go to selections/invert.

With this selection floating go to:
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow and use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 60,blur 25,color black.

Deselect the selection.
Go to effects/noise and add a 3% uniform noise.

Add a new layer and call it psign.

Cut and paste my psign.psp on the penguins hat.


And your pirate penguin is ready.
