We are going to make this Chick.
The tube you create from this tutorial is yours.

Download here the selections

Start by opening your Basic Penguin in layers.

Make the wbody layer your active layer.

Go to edit/cut and cut away the white body.

Open my chickcheek.sel and flood fill with the color #DF4329.
Deselect the selection.

Make the bbody layer your active layer.

Go to edit/cut and cut away the black body.

Open my chickbody.sel and flood fill with the color #FCF289.

With the selection floating go to selections/invert.

With this selection floating go to:
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow and use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 70,blur 80,color black.

Deselect the selection.
Go to effects/noise.
And add a 6% uniform noise.

Make the wings layer your active layer.

Go to edit/cut and cut away the wings.

Open my chickwing.sel and flood fill with the color #FCF289.

With the selection floating go to selections/invert.

With this selection floating go to:
Effects/3d effects/drop shadow and use these settings:
Vertical 0,horizontal 0,opacity 55,blur 50,color black.

Deselect the selection.
Go to effects/noise.
And add a 6% uniform noise.
Your Chick should now look like this:


Your basic chick is ready now.
You can use it as tube.

To make more chicks:
save your basic chick in unmerged layers.
